Back in 2021, I made a silly video where I gave away $1,000 to a random family to promote my real estate business. Unexpectedly, that gesture led to one of my biggest successes: someone who knew the family contacted me to invest in real estate, and we closed on a triplex my biggest transaction of that year. We stayed in touch, and by 2024, I referred him to a builder and he purchased a brand-new fourplex in Gatineau. He chose me to manage the building. I rented out all four units in just a month and a half, helped him find excellent deals on appliances and mirrors (which weren’t included), and it’s been fully rented ever since. He’s happy and so am I.
